Here’s a sneak peek at the first chapter…
You are an intelligent, talented, capable woman. I assume this about you because I know you better than you might think.
I know because you’re reading this that you’re a blogger, and that you’re a mother. These two facts tell me a lot about you.
First, you’re a creator.
Instead of sitting around consuming or being entertained by the creative efforts of others, you’ve decided to give back. You’ve decided to share what you know with the world, or at least the part of it that will listen to what you have to say.
So I know you’re generous.
I also know that you want to be heard. Sometimes you want that so much it hurts. You’ll do just about anything, even work deep into the night on a regular basis, to get your message out there.
I know that you’re smart.
Maybe even smarter than you realize.
As a blogger you’re always learning. You learn how to write in a new, more approachable way than you were taught in school. You learn to design. You learn to code. You learn how to navigate multiple social networks like a pro. You learn many of the same marketing techniques used by Harvard MBA graduates.
I know you’re a great multitasker. You manage a blog, a home, maybe even a full time job.
Maybe you wish your blog were your full time job.
It seems like everything you read online is telling you that you can make a full time income blogging.
That sounds nice to you.
Not only could you be creative, which you love, but you could also have more time to spend with your family because of all that money coming in from your blog!
It’s okay to want that. Who doesn’t want a money-making machine that runs on autopilot?
The things you’ve read about blogging are right… and wrong.
Yes, you can make good money blogging, but no, it is not easy to do so.
You have to be willing to not just work hard, but work smart.
What I’m about to teach you will give you the tools to build your own money-making machine, but only if you choose to use them.
The future is in your hands.
Kobi Yamada famously said, “She turned her Can’ts into Cans and her Dreams into Plans.”
Could that be said about you?
If you follow the advice I’m about to give you, then yes– it could and it Will.
Don’t sell yourself short. You may be a “mommy blogger” but that’s just how the world sees you.
That’s not how I see you. To me, you’re so much more than that.
But do you know what’s more important than what they think, or what I think?
It’s how you see yourself that really matters.
If you’re satisfied with blogging as a hobby, that’s fantastic! This might not be the book for you.
I have a suspicion that you want more than that.
And I’ll tell you why…
